Due to the outstanding performance of graduates from our department in the national civil service exams, as indicated by the employment percentages in the chart below, approximately 43% of our alumni have entered government institutions (both central and local governments) for employment. This has consistently been the largest employment market for our graduates.

The second-largest employment sector for our graduates is the engineering and technology industry, which includes engineering consulting firms, national land surveying companies, geographic information companies, and information technology firms, among others. Approximately 41% of our alumni find employment in the engineering and technology sectors.

Around 16% of our graduates choose to work in teaching and research positions in academic and research institutions. This includes universities, technical colleges, the Academia Sinica, National Laboratories, and industrial technology research institutes, both domestically and internationally.
